Modelli monologici e dialogici: un’introduzione allo studio dei processi comunicativi e della comunicazione interculturale

Autori:

Abstract - After clearing the ground of some theoretical prejudices that weigh on the study of communicative processes, this paper examines critically and in detail the main models of communication and the relative theories, proposing a distinction between two different classes of models: monological and dialogical. Particular attention is paid to the latter, in that they discourage a utilitaristic, manipulatory and ethnocentric use of communication, thus meeting the ethical requirements of nonviolent communication as well as the objectives of intercultural communication that aim at the development of complex and “plural” identities, capable of integrating diversity creatively.
